I don't know much about the Tyers line of our family. I am just starting to persue that line. My husband's grandmother was Vivian Tyers B May 14, 1921 (not sure where) and died June 3 1994 in Woodbury, Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States.

She married a William Martin Byers.

Do you have this person in any of your holdings?

Hi - I don't have Vivian in my databases at all and I don't think she was born in the UK. However, I shall keep a lookout for her and will be in touch if she surfaces.

Kind regards
Karen

My cousin in Australia has written to tell me that my grandmother said that we are related to Charles James Tyers of Australia. I think that he must have been her great uncle, (not her uncle as she said) but her father's uncle - because of dates.

I've recently seen a list of John and Elizabeth Tyers children and I am thinking that her grandfather may have been Charles' brother Frederick William (because of family names). Are you able to give me any information on Frederick William's descendants?

Many thanks for your help
