William Twyman Lockett wrote Twyman Family History.

Would like to hear from Twymans who have any info. on the Twyman history. I have some, my Dad was George Twyman, he lived in Missouri and was born and raised here. Would appreciate hearing from any Twymans. Thank you. Mary Twyman Smith

I also would appreciate any info on the Twymans. Am just starting our family history, and it is so intertwined with the Bufords that I'm also looking for their information. I'm the granddaughter of Sidney Twyman Bessie Green of MO.

My line is George I, George II, George III, Abraham, Kirtley, James, John, Paul Edward, Pearle Twyman and myself. I found an out-of-print book on microfiche through the LDS family history center and found my grandfather had a small section in it.
|
I have gotten a hold of the microfiche of the book, and written a letter to the author's wife, she was quite old, and said the book had only a small amount copied. I would like to get a hold of a copy, or if we could get enough new TWYMANS to make it worth a second edition. Maybe we could add to the ancestry already there. I have three plus generations I could put on.

Have done extensive research on Twyman family starting with George I. What information are you interested in?
|
Interested to find out if my line of Twyman's are in that book - am descendent of Sidney J. Twyman, son of William Buford Twyman, son of Joel Twyman. If so, would be very interested in adding our Twymans to it.

If you have a Family History Center, located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in your area, just go in and ask them how you would locate the Twyman Book, I believe it's by William Luckett. I think that book was on microfilm.
