Hi Terry,
I am not sure you remember me, but I am your cousin. My father was Paul Austin Tweedel. I am the youngest child. I didn't live with my parents, but lived in Welsh. I remember you and your sisters, Paulann and Sue, and your brother, Barkley. It's good to hear from you. How is everyone? Where is everyone now? I saw Sue for Pat's funeral. I don't see any of the Tweedel family anymore. Kinda lost touch. I have been researching the Tweedel family and I would appreciate any information you could provide. I have some information. If you are interested, I would be happy to send you the file. It's not complete. I have concentrated on our line, so it would have the information you would need. Please contact me at
mizzsweetp@aol.com. I have been in touch with a Frank Tweedel and he has been helping with information. I have found up to our great great grandparents. Then I hit a wall. Don't know anything about our great grandfather's siblings. Stories say he had a brother. I found another Tweedel who rode the orphan train from New Orleans to Lewisburg; he had two red headed sisters, but there was no other information. The story goes that our great great grandfather stowed away on a ship to come to America. It is thought that he came in on the east coast and traveled to Kentucky and then came to New Orleans. He worked on the docks where he was killed. Nothing is known what happened to our grandmother. It is said that their two boys were sent to Lewisburg to live with a family. Please let me know if you are interested. Looking forward to hearing from you.
