I am connected to Robert Barton Tweed. I'm not sure what response you were expecting to your message. I don't know who this mystery researcher is.

Tweed – Quendon, Essex Nicholas Tweed (1498 – 1561) – had 2 children His son John married Olive Howe – they had 6 children
Nicholas is the start of my great grandmothers TWEED Tree. The researcher, I note from the descendency chart sent to me, re Robert Barton Tweed is a Judith Hardie who evidently lives in Western Australia.
Their son John married Susan Sparrow – they had 11 children Their son Walter married Mary Johnson on 1 Jul 1793 at Quendon, Essex–
I have not found this link in 12 years, neither has any of my TWEED research contacts, its not on the TWEED Pedigree held at the SOG in London, or TWEED Pedigree by Whitehead at Suffolk Record Office. or found by the TWEED researchers active 1970 = 1995, from whom I inherited much of their research.
So if the link is there great as I am hunting the evidence and then some !.( not doing much for the next 12 years either !).

A link would be great, I have the Horringer Tweeds and the 'doubt' would be the distance between Horringer and Quordon and the lack of Quordon IGI Records, though I did ask my Salt Lake City, Tweed, fellow researcher ( Patricioa Hardie) to look at them at one stage ( might still have the reply on file). I definately have Jane Cromwell in my Tree, via the Walford marriage and 2 Walford = Tweed Marriages.
The truth be told via a Marriage of Rachel Tweed = John Last, a distant connection can be made to the Chevely Tweeds ( Judith Manleys Tree/ branch...goggle Chec vely Tweeds for her website) ) but I have steered clear ( the aforesaid Patricia Hardie of Salt Lake is descened from this branch ) as some went to USA and I saw Trees of their descendants with 16,000 in !...I'll save that lot for when I retire !.

As well as just starting to look into the connections between my Tweeds and Robert Barton Tweed, I have Jane Cromwell in my Tree. At the SOG in London I found a file which had a number of Walford pedigree's, and from then as a pet project, I have been trying to connect as many Walfords as possible, (whist watching the hairs on the palm of my hand grow ).
