I'm looking for information on Nancy Tway, b. c. 1798, possibly in Elizabethtown, NJ. She is supposedly the daughter of John Tway, b. 1747 in Elizabethtown, NJ and Sarah "Sally" Hempstead, b. 1755 in Elibethtown, NJ.

Nancy married John Morris, b. 1773 possibly in Elizabethtown, NJ. They had at least one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Morris, b. 2 March 1823, possibly in Fayette Co., OH

Any information on Nancy and/or John Tway would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Jennifer,
Are you still researching Tway-Morris? My mother was Renna Lee Tway, and descends from the John Tway who was born in Elizabethtown NJ in 1747, fought in the Revolution, married Sarah (Sally) Hempstead, daughter of Jeremiah Hempstead of NJ, and raised a family and died in Fayette County, and supposedly is buried in the Tway-Salmon cemetary on a farm near route 38 in Bloomingburg, Ohio, where there's still a "Tway Road." John and Sally had 2 sons, John Jr and Nathanial, and 2 daughers, Jane and Elizabeth. The 2 sisters married 2 brothers: Jane married Richard Morris, and Elizabeth married John Morris. Perhaps Elizabeth is the one you call Nancy. My mother's line is from Nathanial, who had one son, John Tway III, by his first wife ___ Williams, then a large family by his second wife Sophia Salmon. I descend from John Tway III.
