I too am interested in any available information about this couple and their family, particularly their daughter Rachel, who married Zachariah Kirk. (I have names but no dates or real facts.)

Any help from JJ or anyone would be appreciated. I know (thanks to HarrietMI) that Deborah Pawling (1751-1806) married William John Twaddell or Twaddle. I know from joepat that William John Twaddell died in 1827. He lists 7 children of the pair: Ann, William, James, Rachel, Susanna, Mary, and John.

My ancestor is Rachel, who married Zachariah Kirk at some point in time. Their daughter, also Rachel, married William Jeandell.

I need dates and locations and anything at all for these particular Twaddells, Kirks, and Jeandells. Help if you can!

Ann

I saw your posting for the Twaddell family. Can you forward all info to me. Also, do you have info on Rebecca Twaddell who married William Todd? She was one of their children. I beleive the youngest. I think that Rebecca and her husband are my ggggrandparents. William and Deborah Twaddell would be my gggggrandparents. Thanks for your time. June

I would love to get your email and we could go back and forth with all our questions. :o)

I would love to learn more about your Jeandells (as I didn't have them at all) and your Rachel Kirk (as all I had was her name).

As for Zachariah, I know he was born Aug 17, 1785 and died Nov 3, 1852. Rachel Twaddell was born Feb 24, 1784 and died Dec 14, 1822. They had Deborah, Ann, William, James, Rachel, Susannah, Mary, and John. Susannah is the only one I have any further info for: b. Jan 1817 and d. April 19, 1897.

I have 13 kids for William John Twaddell and Deborah Pawling, which is clearly messed up. I'd like to firm that info up with you.

I have three generations down from William Todd and Rebecca Twaddell. I'd be more than willing to share. Just email me at genealogylover@hotmail.com and I'll get back to you. I only check that email as time allows since genealogy is a guilty pleasure I can only indulge myself in when I have time. Work does get in the way!
