This is my great grandfather and grandmother. They were first cousins. My great grandmother is listed as being born in Illinois but Hermann came over from Germany but I'm not sure when. Nor do I know his age/birthdate currently. I'm just beginning to start this. Amelia and Hermann had three daughters, Alice (married to John Sabin), Freida (married to Inman?) and my grandmother Cecelia (married to Theodore Montford). I've got pictures of the grave markers in Burrton, KS but I can't find them at the moment. I have found them on the Reno County, Valley Township 1920 and 1930 census. My mother says she has some info but I won't be able to get to that until November, I believe so I would like to see what I could find out before then. Thanks for any assistance.

Hello,
I was wondering how your research was going? I am a Tuxhorn descendent also. I think your family is very heavily researched by a Charles Tuxhorn in Virginia. He and I have been in contact for many years but have not been able to tie our two branches together. We have a DNA project going on. If there are any male Tuxhorn descendents who would be interested in participating, please let me know. Linda
