Hi Renee I have just read your Jan 01 2001 message to John Tuveson and would like to post a bit of information about some New England Tuveson's and would be very interested in contacting your daughter-in-law, Audra, regarding her genealogy work (her email address?). My father, Gosta "Gus" (1913-1989), was born in Sweden and came to the U.S. in 1919 with his younger brother Fred, who currently lives in Needham, MA with his wife Ester. They have two married sons - Mark and Howie and Fred ran a glass shop in Jamaica Plain, MA which I believe is now owned and operated by his son, Howie. My grandfather's name was Axel who was married to Annie Johansson. He served in the Swedish Navy and was a cabinet-maker. They came to live in Dorchester, MA and had two more sons, Arthur and Herbie - both deceased. To my knowledge, Herbie never married and was a member of the Merchant Marine and traveled all over the world. Arthur married Louise (last name?) and ran a glass shop in Hanover, MA - they had one daughter whose name escapes me at this writing, it may be Marian. My father, Gus, married Alice Mitrook (1921-) and settled in Portsmouth, NH where he worked in a body shop and eventually for Pitsburgh Plate Glass Co. as a glazer. He and Alice had four sons: Twins boys - Roger (me) - retired teacher-coach - resides in Marblehead, MA, married to Kathy Walker for 38 years and have two married daughters - Kristine Ganong (37) and Katy Gearan (34) and Robert who resides in Holderness, NH, married to Joanna Russell and have two married sons - Erik and David; Ronald - married to Susan Sano (second marriage for both), has three children from a previous marriage - to be continued via email to Renee
