I am just begining research on the Tuvell line. Does anyone have info on a William A. Tuvell (1862-1933) and his wife Sarah M. Tuvell (1868-1943). I don't know where they were located. I do know that some of their children were Alta R. (Tuvell) Baker, Flo Tuvell, and Billie Tuvell ( who ended up in California somehow). I think they spent some time in Cerro Gordo, Illinois. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Liz,
I read your post on the Tuvell surname
message board.
Thomas Tuvell was my great, great
grandfather. He was married Mary Etta Clark in Pike Co. Ohio in 1868 and moved to Cerro Gordo, IL. We don't think Mary Etta was
living when he moved because his grave is
at Cerro Gordo, but we couldn't locate Mary Etta's grave. My great grandfather was John E. Tuvell, born in Illinois. He had a brother
named George Frank Tuvell. They are both buried at Cerro Gordo. My great-grandfather married and moved to northern Indiana. My grandfather's name was Dolph, my father's name is James E. My parents have been to Cerro Gordo and visited the cemetery. We know that we are connected to all the Tuvells there, except we do not know how we
are connected to your great-grandfather, William. Any research or info. you could share with me would be great. Maybe you could
post your e-mail address for me? Please bear
with me, I am a novice at genealogy!
Thanks much!
Lisa

My great great grandfather was Reason TUVELL married to Elizabeth BRINKMANN on Feb 25, 1875 in Will Co, Illinois.

They had 15 children, my great grandmother was Ella TUVELL who married John Anderson MILLER. They lived in Cerro Gordo, Illinois. She had a brother William TUVELL who married Henrietta UNKNOWN.

Do we have a connection?
