Searching for background information on my birth mother. At age 5 she and 2 siblings, ages approx. 4 and 6 were placed in an orphanage in Alabama. I was told her parents died in an automobile wreck. Unconfirmed. She was adopted by a family by the name of WILLIAMS we think...unconfirmed. She was unmarried when I was born and gave me up for adoption. She used the name of Edna Williams on my birth certificate. Her age at that time was listed as 20. She was born in 1917 or 1918 in Elba AL and died 1-11-1960 in Jacksonville FL. I have very limited information. So anxious to get any leads. Thank you for your help.
