Looking for info on my great grandmother, Adelaide Cornelia Tune, born abt 1882 m. James J. Harris, listed in the Rutherford Co., TN 1920 census as being 38 years old. Several children (Melvin, Thomas, Douglas, Adelaide, Walter, Jessie, Mabel, James, Joseph, Mildrid) I have no information on the Tunes other than her name, which I got from my mother.

Any leads are appreciated.

-Ted

Walter and Adelaide were twins. As of last year Walter was alive. I knew Thomas Grey and my grandmother was Sadie Harris Pruitt, born in 1900. She lived to be 84. I was born in 1948 to John David Pruitt II , my grandfather was Charles M. Pruitt. I have an aunt still living Rachel Pruitt Baker, about 85 that knows something about our fAMILY. pLEASE LET ME

I am not certain, but I understand that there is a Joseph Harris that married Lula Franklin in Nov. 17, 1873. Maybe they were the parents of James

Ok Ted, This is really BIG ! I finally found a pic of my great grandmother and your great grandmother (of same person) Adelaide Cornelia Tune. I got this pic from the late Melvin Harris' son Michael.

I am quiet certain the little boy on the left of her (as we look at pic) with little white hat on MUST be Dewy. I also got a great pic of Dewy in service uniform in TX in my tree. It also is the only pic I have located of him. I will try to send both to you. If I am not able to attach them then go to my Family Tree Janice Oliver or gabbyjan@gmail.com to see pics. It is a public tree.

I Hope you enjoy meeting our Great Grandmother as much as I did! lol Janice Oliver
