WEST LAFAYETTE: Beverly Womer, 84, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014, at Lafayette Pointe Care Center, West Lafayette, Ohio.
She was born in Coshocton County, Ohio, on August 3, 1929, the daughter of the late Clive and Zola (Lawrence) Tumblin.
Bev was a 1947 graduate of Coshocton High School, and was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church, and a Life Member of VFW 2040 Aux.
On February 11, 1948, she married James R. Womer, who preceded her in death on March 14, 1992.

She is survived by one son, Kevin (Aleesa) Womer of Newark, Ohio; three daughters: Karen (Mike) Kirkbride of Lexington, Kentucky, Vicki (Ron) Loescher of Amherst, Ohio, and Linda (Don) Stroup of Coshocton, Ohio; grandchildren: T.J. Chaney, Shelley Chaney, Nicole Campbell, Ryan Kirkbride, Kelly O'Brien, Kristy Garrett, Kathy Weaver, Grayson Womer, Bryn Womer, Kristi Scheffler, and Matt Loescher; 18 great- grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Sarah Cox of Knoxville, Tenn. and Julia Gross of Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kimberly Kaser; one brother, Charles Tumblin; and one sister, Doris Wilson.

A funeral service will be held in the Sanctuary of Roscoe United Methodist Church, 475 High St., Coshocton, Ohio, on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
The family will greet friends and neighbors at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 5-8pm.
Following the funeral service, cremation will take place and her cremated remains will be interred at a later date in South Lawn Cemetery.
