Looking for information on Benjamin Franklin Tugman (1869-1948), his mother and father, where he grew up, et cetera. An 1880 Census states grandson "Benj Tugman" living with Mason and Polly Brown.

One census states his father as James Lawrence Tugman (1815-1899) married to Susan McGrady Tugman. Susan McGrady passed away while James Lawrence Tugman was fighting in the Civil War. When James Lawrence Tugman returned home, he lost everything from the war. All his children were spread out living with aunts and uncles. He went 60 miles away and worked in a lumber yard. I have attached a document about this James Lawrence Tugman.

There were several Benjamin Franklin Tugmans in the 18th century. The one I am interested in is from Wilkes, NC (not Meat Camp, NC).

Does anybody have any knowledge of who his mother is?
