Hello, everyone, I wanted to let you know my end of the Tuffield name. My Great Grandfather is one, Albert Spikin Tuffield son of "Caroline Amelia Tuffield Butcher". Caroline Amelia Tuffield Butcher was born in Maidstone, county of Kent, England. She married Albert S Tuffield's father, one "Henry Robert Spikin" in Westminster, Middlesex in Feb 11, 1865. She died Oct 12, 1902 and likely buried in Maidstone Kent England. Then son Albert studied engineering in Kent I believe, work for a gas company in Maidstone Kent Eng and was offered an opportunity to travel to Chile South America. Then is where the rest of the branch went. However, I am convinced that I am related to the Tuffields and the Butchers. Email me if interested in exchanging information. I am in Dallas, TX USA. I am now a "Texan". Hehehe...

My dad and granddad were all from Maidstone

My dad, Ronald Henry Tuffield was one of four children. He is deceased nearly 10 years. He lived most of his life in New York City where my mother still resides. Ronald was born on Havoc Lane in Maidstone, Kent. His father was Henry Tuffield and his mother was Ethel. I am the last of that lineage.
Havoc lane got it's name from the Havoc that ensued when Cromwell clashed with the King's troops on that section of Maidstone. All Saints Church has Gessos that still bear the sword slashes. Please contact me at jtuffield@hotmail.com

I am writing freemasons' biographies in Chile, South America, during the XIXth century. Your forefather Albert Spikin was a member of the Huelen Lodge, in Santiago of Chile, from 1896. Besides the information that you have in the page, there is another relevant information to stand out? Thank you very much.Manuel Romo. (manuel.romo@gmail.com / www.manuelromo.cl)
