Researching my wife's family on father's side. His parents were from Bari,Italy. Immigration made a spelling mistake and changed the last letter from an "I" to an "O". Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure that immigration made a mistake. My name is Tufariello and I have tracked the name back to the Bari area, especially the nearby town of Bitetto. Does your wife trace her roots to this town? If so, I am sure we are related. I would like to hear from you.

He had five children, Clare, Frank, Anna, Mary and Jacqueline. His fathers name is Frank. Looking forward to hearing from you.
