My great-great-grandfather, Antonio Tufano, lived in Acerra, and was born in that time range. I wonder if it's the same one? He named his daughter Angela - after his mother, maybe? I'm attaching my GEDCOM; e-mail me at greeneymorris@hotmail.com if you think we've got something here!

I just read your message from 2004 and can't believe that I either never answered it or haven't read it in the 2 yrs since you sent it. Of course I'm so used to not getting any response to the message that I may not have read the ancester's message board in 2 yrs. As to the question of antonio tufano being related, I was unable to read your GedCom. Do you have anymore information that might indicate a relationship. Such as the names of Cuono Tufano marrying Angela Sarnataro? There are many Sarnataro's listed in a film I've been working with, but so far I haven't found a birth record for an Angela Sarnataro. My mother found a marriage record for these two. However, she neglected to record where she found it, and I haven't found it either. If I didn't see your message sooner, I apologize and will pay closer attention in the future to this site. Thank you for your initial response. These people don't seem to want me to find them. Either that or I'm still looking in the wrong places. Angie Tyczka

Neither name is familiar to me, unfortunately. I'm appending my GEDCOM again... maybe you'll be able to open it this time!

Hope we're connected. Grandparents also from Acerra are Antonio and Maddalena (D'Addio) Tufano born about 1871 to 86. Came to USA in 1906-07 first to NY then Chicago.

I've seen the D'Addio name in the microfiche films for Acerra and I don't believe we're related. The Tufano name seems to be a common name in that area which is probably why I'm having trouble finding my relatives. But I will keep on looking.
