Micheal,

I can find a TUDGE, Geo. Robt. Tudge whose father is John Tudge. George was born in the 3rd quarter of 1878. If you want to know more about the Tudge's please let me know your email address and I will send it to you directly. Dave Lane's website http://www.d.lane.btinternet.co.uk/tudge.htm is definitely worth a visit.

Hello, I was looking around the web and found this message that I'm replying too. Micheal is my brother, We talk alot but not much on the family tree. I'm the oldest of my three brothers, Scott,Jerry Micheal Carrie a(Sister).
If you have any info on John or George Tudge Please let me know. I think John Tudge came over from England about 1888, what port I do not know. I have very little info on him. But I would be very interested in what you might have.
Thanks in advance, Ray.

Ray/Micheal,

The 1881 Census shows the following family. Also the GRO births indicate that John was born in the first quarter of 1853 and similar for Jemina and George Robert. GRO Deaths shows that a Jemina died in the first quarter of 1887. To be sure of the above you would need to send off for the birth certificates and in Jemina’s case the death certificate as well.
Name Age Sex Relto Head
Eliza 31 F Wife
John 29 M Head
Jemina 5 F Daur
Geo Robt. 2 M Son

Name GRODOB GRODeaths
John 1853 Q1
Jemina 1875 Q3 1887 Q1
Geo Rob 1878 Q3

If you contact me directly at jtudge@netcomuk.co.uk I will send you the rest of the spreadsheet. Please let me know what spreadsheet you have and its version ie Excel 2000.
