R.P. Tubbs born March 25, 1847 in State of Alabama
Family moved to Union Parish Louisiana where he grew
to manhood and join the Confederate Army when old enough.
Married - wife's name unknown. Second wife was Missouri
Myers. He died 1916 or later. Left 4 sons and
3 daughters. One son was Benjamin Franklin Tubbs.
Family story is that two brothers came from Ireland
and married Indian maidens. They may have arrived in
South Carolina and scattered through Tenn.,
Ark.,Alabama, Miss., and Louisiana. If you know any
connection please write me at my email address. Interested
in finding names of R.P. Tubbs parents to continue
tracing my family tree. Also the name may have been
Tubb originally, without the S.

I think Richard Perry Tubb(s) may be a brother of my grandfather, John Tubb(s) was born in Alabama in 1852 and moved to Union Parish, Louisiana as a child. The ancesters came over from Ireland and there is Indian blood in us from somewhere. My e-mail address is KLMEnviro@aol.com. I'll e-mail you with more information.

I'm looking for the names of siblings and parents, etc. of John B. Tubbs born April 1852 in Alabama. Family moved to Union Parrish, Louisiana. He out lived 3 wives, the last was my grandmother, Docia Graham(Tibbit) born in 1776, They had 8 children - Abraham born 1895, Buelah born 1895, an infant who died, Samuel Joseph born 1900 (my dad), Willie born 1903, Perry born 1906, John born 1908, and Era born 1911. I was told my ancesters were from Ireland or England and that we also have Indian blood, so some ancester obviously married an Indian. If anyone can help me go back an farther than my grandfather, please e-mail me at KLMEnviro@aol.com.

I am descended from Kinsey Tubbs, born c.1806 in Tn, married Elizabeth ? of Tn. Moved to Marshall Co MS(1841 censes), then onto MO(St.Francois Co in 1850). I cannot find Kinsey in any of the other Tubb references. From our family photos, there is definately dark blood of some type in the family. Do you have any reference to Kinsey in your line? I would love to hear more about the Irish brothers that came over.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Vicky
