Looking for any connections to Frank Tschaenn born in Alsace-Llorraine, France in 1848. Moved to Lawrenceburg, Indiana around 1873. Married Magdelena Bogner. Trying to find out information about his life in France, parents, siblings.

My mother was married to Frank Anthony Tschaenn.(not my father) He died in 1958. Don't know the exact date of birth and death but will be able to get them tomorrow, will unfortuneatly be at the cemetary. Together they had 10 children. Names and birthdates I will need a little time but can get them for you.

Bonnie,
Sorry, it has taken me so long to reply. But, I had to go to Texas for a few days. Your mother must have been Irene Garrison-Tschaenn-McElfresh. Her first husband was Frank Anthony the 3rd (Mickey). He was my husbands great Uncle. My husbands grandfather was Louis Tschaenn and his great grandfather was Frank Anthony Jr.. The Frank Anthony that I have been in seach of is Frank Anthony Sr. He came to the United States in 1873 from the Alsace-Lorene region of France. Thank you for responding and I would appricate any info on your mother and Frank Anthony the 3rd to help me fill in all my blanks. You must still live in the Dearborn Co. region due to your e-mail address.

That is quite alright! I have been really busy with the death of a sister, which is one of Mickey's children. I don't have any dates yet, but yes, my mother, Irene Gladys was married to Mickey until 1958 when died. Then a couple years later she and my father were married. She has also passed on... March 16th, 1991.
She and Mickey had 10 children. The dates of birth I have buried in my closet somewhere. I can get all those though. It will just take me some time. I can go ahead and give all the names if you're interested.
I am living in Madison by the way. Where is your location?

Bonnie,

I would really appreciate it. And I sorry about your sister and I do remember reading her obituary in the local paper. And I live near the ski slops. I knew that Mickey died at a really young age and him and your mother had alot of children. But , I have never been able to get alot or details. Is Travis Tschaenn (the man who replyed to your posting), related to you also.

Bobbie,

Thank You very much and Yes time is very precious! To see Travis's posting all you need to do is go to the Tschaenn main board and click on his posting. He said in his posting that Frank "Mickey" was his Grandfather and he asked how you were doing. A girl I work with went to school with Travis. And the first day I work with her she asked me if I knew Travis. Take care and thank you agian for the information I really do appreciate all help.
