Hi James - thank you for your reply. Here is my Trott Family. Harriot Carter-Trott came to NY in 1869 bringing 2 daughter with her and joining a 3rd and 4th daughters. Robert Carter Trott age 28(only son of Harriet)came to Canada in 1865 bringing his family with him. He settled in Simcoe Co. Ontario. So I would say that there is no direct relationship to your family at least here in Canada.
