There are two Trites in my husband's line. Elizabeth Trites, daughter of Christian Trites, 1759-1836, and Catherine Jones, 1763-1851. She m. Jacob Gesner in Nova Scotia, I believe. Also, my husband's grandmother was Emma Laura Trites, 1866-1925. Her parents were Sophia Catherine Kierstead, b. 1836, and Lewis Trites, b. 1833. Lewis Trites' parents were Christian Trites, b. 1805, and Sarah Boyd. As far as I know they all lived in Nova Scotia.
