My father name was Jesus Maria Triana Triana, he had 3 sisters Ernestina, Luz Maria and Josefina, and brothers Raul, Margarito, Carlos and Martin, only Margarito and Josefina are still alive and live in Aguascalientes Mexico, my grandma name was Josefina Triana and her father was General Martin Triana Guzman, and he was interin governor in Aguascalientes. My grandpa name was Raul Triana, and I have no idea how grandpa and grandma share last names. what i know is that they all are from Durango or Coahuila. In Aguascalientes there is a Barrrio de Triana, is one of the 4 original barrios, and what I been told is that it was named after mi great-grandfather because is where his house was located. another thing that I know is that we, all Trianas from Aguascalientes are in some way related. i live in Georgia, and since most of my uncles have died, I don't know much from my dad's family.

Hi,
My great-grandfather was General Martin Triana. He had a daughter Hortensia Triana, my grand-mother. I showed your message to my father and he said that your dad was my grandmas half-brother and he also discussed it with his mom and she knows of all the people you mentioned. My grandmother currently lives in Aguascalientes. My father is very interested in his history so if you have any stories about General Martin Triana then we would really like to hear them. Thank you

I've been trying to research my father's side of family in Mexico but have hit a wall..Can only get back to his grandfather, Cruz Triana who married Francesca Jaquez (Jaques?) @ 1845 or 1865...Cruz and Francesca had a son, Juan, who married Josefa Benevente..Juan and Josefa were my father's parents... Cruz and Francesca married in Zacatecas? Juan and Josefa had my father in Mapimi, Durango or close by... Do any of these names sound familiar? Do you have any other info on other family names who might be related to the above?

Hi! I'm new to this, but have been researching my father's side (Triana) for a couple of years. My father's grandfather (as far back as I have been able to go) is Cruz Triana (born @ 1815?) and married Franca Jaquez @ 1845. I have no other information about them..parents, siblings, or children other than my father's father, Juan who married Josefa Benevente. My father was born in Mapimi, Dgo in 1887.. Do you or your dad have ANY information that could help me in my search?? Sure would appreciate it.
