Children of Henry Treybig and Dora Ilse

I am trying to figure out daughters of the above people. I am finding mixed results.
Paula Treybig born 1900, in obit for her mother it list her married name as Mrs E Smitherman, but everyone only has her listed as Mrs Paula Day, wife of Glen James Day.

Second daughter is Minna or Minnie Treybig, born 1903. In obit for her mother listed name is Mrs Alfred Tonn. One child born as far as I know. Her name was Barbara Pauline Tonn. There is a marriage for Barbara Tonn to one Alfred E Thompson, but other family members have her listed as marrying ??? Pollock. There is a birth record for one Maura A Pollock , Bexar. On birth record for Maura parents are listed as Gerald Pollock, and Barbara Tonn.

Family is from the LaGrange, Texas Area.

Gustav Wilhelm Treybig was born on 29 Dec 1876 in Fayette County, Texas and died on 23 Nov 1958. He was the son of Gustav Bernhardt Treybig (1841 – 1905) and Elise Heyne (1847 – 1901). Gustav Wilhelm and Katie Ellen Wood, born on 29 Jan 1881 and died on 24 Mar 1953, were married on 26 Aug 1897 and celebrated their 40th Anniversary in 1937 (not their 50th). They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1947 and Katie died 6 and a half years later. Gustav died 5 years later.

Shawn, Don't know if you're still interested in this after all this time, but there has been a lot of research done on the Treybig family. A five-volume set of books called "German Roots--Texas Growth" was printed in 1986 for the 140th year of the Treybig family in TX. One volume was done on Bernhardt Treybig and his wife Elise Heyne. The Treybig family holds periodic reunions in Shelby, TX, I think every five years or so. Anyway, let me know what specific info you'd like to have, and I'll try to find it for you. Some of this information has been uploaded by me into our family tree on Ancestry.com, Rootsweb, and LDS FamilySearch. Arlene

Bernhard Gustav Treybig father of Gustav William Treybig

I'm looking on information on either Bernhard or Gustav Treybig. I know Gustav "Gus" Treybig lived in Texas and I would like any information on his ancestors and decendents. Also I'd like some information on Gus's wife Katie Ellen Wood. They celebrated their Golden Anniversary in 1937.
