http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/NJSALEM/2008-0...If I had to guess, the following records suggests Samuel Powell could be the 2nd husband of Ann Curtis, just following the land. Or he might be a son of her 2nd husband had Powell predeceased her. (Ann Powell's will probated just a few month prior to the following deed in Salem co). The land on Alloways creek is key, since it was historically Curtis property. The recital in the deed should explain how Samuel Powell had right to sell it.
