I am looking for my grandfather’s siblings. Dusan Trbovich was the son of George Trbovich and Janja Tatalovich. He was Serbian, born in Dreznica, Croatia on March 3, 1881. He immigrated to the United States in 1900 and settled in Pittsburgh. He married Marta Mamula April, 1906. Dusan lived in the Southside of Pittsburgh until his death in 1963. Family stories tell of several sisters who also immigrated, and one brother, Mane, who returned to Gorimje.

You may want to Try Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Whitehall (Pittsburgh, PA 15227). It was formerly St. Georges Serbian Orthdox in Southside. My mother was very good friends with a Zora Trbovich. Her last name was Davic(h) I believe a Bosnian Serb. I am currently searching for a Croatian family named Trbovich for Millvale PA. I hope this helps you in your search.

Surnames: TRBOVIĆ
According to the heritage book for Drežnica your family is from the small village TRBOVIĆI, part of a larger village KRAKAR in Drežnica, Croatia.

Your ancestor TRBOVIĆ DUŠAN, son of ĐURAĐ is listed to have finally emigrated in 1906. He may have traveled to US before that too but I have no information on that.

A year before that in 1905. his brother TRBOVIĆ MANE, son of ĐURAĐ, emigrated to USA. The family in the old country knew nothing of their fate after emigrating at the time this book was published ( 1982.)

From the records of the Serbian Trade Association"Privrednik" there is information about another brother, TRBOVIĆ MILE, son of ĐURAĐ:

About "Privrednik" database you can read more here:

http://www.rodoslovlje.com/documentation/serbian-trade-assoc...

From that database you also have the address (household number) of your ancestral home - Krakar 42. This household number will be in all vital records of the Serbian Orthodox Church which are of interest for you, even the fragments that are online for Drežnica parish via FamilySearch:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-28193-4910-53?...

This same house can be listed as
KRAKAR 42
DREŽNICA 42
TRBOVIĆI 42

in different records.

From the listing of victims of fascists during WWII in Croatia there is information on another brother of your ancestor - TRBOVIĆ MARKO, son of ĐURAĐ, born in 1887., who was a forest keeper and was executed in Jasenak village in 1941. by the nazi forces.

If you have any additional questions please post your query on Yugoslavia General board with all the information you have on your ancestors :
