Robert A. Tracewell
Beloved husband and father of Maxine Mayfield Tracewell and Robert Kent Tracewell, died at his home in Bellevue, Thursday morning, September 15 of cancer. Born in Mascoutah, Illinois on Christmas Day, 1907.

He attended Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Illinois. He worked for Pitzman Company of Civil Engineers, St. Louis for a number of years before becoming a salesman for William Volker and Company in Kansas City, Missouri and in 1950 was transferred to the company's Seattle branch, where he advanced to Vice President and General Manager until retirement 22 years later. Mr. Tracewell served in the Army during the second World War.

Was a member of Seattle Rotary and the Washington Athletic Club. He served on the Washington State Eleemosynary Board and was a board member of Northwest Hospital. He also belonged to the Presidents Club of Seattle Chamber of Commerce and was active in numerous other business and community organizations.

Survivors in addition to wife and son are a sister, Mrs. Helen Westrich, of St. Louis and several nieces and nephews in Missouri and Michigan. Memorial services Tuesday, September 20, 3PM at (sic)
