Hello
Im looking for information on Michael Tracer born 4/01/1821 in Darmstadt, Germany and died on 8/01/1901 in Manroe, Oregon.
I know he lived in Indiana up until 1880 until he moved to Oregon. I don't see his name listed at ellis island, but do have a michael Traeger arriving to new york on 1854 but no listing for a Tracer at ellis island . How can I find out if this person is one in the same and maybe had changed his last name from Traeger to Tracer. Thank you
