I can give you information about Catharina Traas born Heinkenszand 26-07-1899, daughter of Cornelis Traas and Catharina Zuidhof.
Cornelis Traas was a wooden shoe maker, it cannot be more Dutch. When you want more information, please contact me.

If you have more information about the tree of Cornelius - it would be helpful. I have the family shoemaking history...but am trying to go back as far possible with the migration.

Hi. Catherine Traas (Impens) and Cornelius Impens were my great grandparents. They emigrated around 1925, but I'm not sure exactly when. They both lived in Leamington, Ontario, Canada, and had ten children. Her youngest was my grandmother. I can give you a family tree from Catherine and Cornelius down to my mother's cousins and obviously my family.

Please let me know if you are still interested in this information. If anyone can help me fill in more information about my family, it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you are talking about my great grandmother, Catherine Traas, who married Cornelius Impens. She also was born in 1899 and I believe those are her parents' names. I am sure that he owned a clog factory. I would be extremely interested if you have any information that you could share. I have all the information about her children going down, but I'm interested in finding out about her family.

Thanks.

Do you happen to have any information on a Jennie Traas? I have little information. I know that she was married to a Myreenus Poppe - not sure when or where. I believe that she died in 1872 and I think that was probably in Holland Michigan. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
