HiLinda - I hope you;re still there after 10 years!!
I'm still very interested in getting as much information as possible about the Toynes and I've started a FaceBook Page called 'The Toyne Clan' which you can join if you'd like to see my family roots (as far as I've got) on the my Toyne Family Tree Link - also accessible via "http://www.myheritage.com/site-117266201/toyne"

On the other hand , if you have any further information on Toyne or Fleetwood, (my mother's maiden name) I'd be most grateful.
All the very best
David

A long shot after nearly 10 years. I am looking for a Susan Randerson who married a Steven Toyne in Sheffield in 1977.

I want to know who her parents were. She is supposedly my half sister, but I have not been able to find her birth under my father's surname. I therefore assume she was registered as the daughter of her mother's husband who must have been a Mr Randerson.

Can you help at all?

Meg

David,
I may be 11 years late from your initial request for information on the Toyne family tree, but I have literally just tripped over this site.
I have quite a lot of my family history provided by my Uncle Cyril Toyne - sadly its all in storage as we have just moved house.
However, I was born in 1953 in Doncaster. I have a brother Max (1941 - to date). Father was Alec Toyne (1918-1996) Mother Marion (nee Snowden). Paternal Grandfather was Walter Toyne (c.1890-c.1978). My father had 2 brothers Lesley and Cyril (last known alive in Doncaster 10 years ago?)and a sister I never met. I can give much much more when I can get into my storage papers which include birth and marriage certificates dating back 200 years!
Hope to hear from you here or on either stoyne@aet-tankers.com, or simon_toyne07@yahoo.co.uk.
Brgds
Simon.
