Re: George Toy, first Toy in Kentucky (for me, anyway)
Cecil County actually makes a lot of sense; that area is very close to the original New Sweden settlement. I will let you know if I find anything.
I have sent you a message via Ancestry...thanks for the info!

Re: George Toy, first Toy in Kentucky (for me, anyway)
I have a question to ask. How can Mary (?) be born in 1833 and then marry George in 1820? Notg trying to start any thing but I don't think the dates are correct or Your Tree.

Re: George Toy, first Toy in Kentucky (for me, anyway)
that's an excellent point. I think that when I used Family Tree Maker, it may have combined a few "Mary" individuals. I'll delete her birth date since we know nothing about her.

Re: George Toy, first Toy in Kentucky (for me, anyway)
I really wish we could find something on her existence.

Re: George Toy, first Toy in Kentucky (for me, anyway)
Where did you get George's Death Date 1670?

Re: George Toy, first Toy in Kentucky (for me, anyway)
Records from the Swedish Colonial Society, I believe. I'll check my notes when I can....my main computer got hit by lightning during a storm today. Thank goodness for online backups!
