Am looking for information on a Mildred Towson (or Townsend, Townson, etc.) that was born in Maryland in the early 1900's. All my mother-in-law knows about her mother is that her first name was Mildred.Her maiden name was "Towson, Townsend, or something like that." That she was born in Maryland and part of a "large" family. That during her youth she lived on a farm. She was a seamstress and an usherette. In 1920 she was living in Baltimore, MD with Theodore Schumacher. In 1930 she was in Buffalo, NY with her daughter, but not Theodore. She died a few years later.
I have been searching the 1910 census records for MD, but haven't had any luck yet. Does this sound like a cousin or aunt in someone's family? As far as I know, she only had one child, a daughter born about 1920. No birth record found for the daughter.
