I was surprised to find via the net that there are about 75 Towsleys just in this tri-state area. There was a Towsley who was an animator at Disney years ago.

Apparently two Towsley brothers in my past came over on a ship from England. An ancestor, Nathaniel Towsley, died from drinking from a poisoned stream during the French Indian (?) War. I have some notes on ancestry handwritten and passed down. For some reason, we have a large old bible that belonged to an Ince up near Chicago.

There are Towsleys throughout the country. I found another Steve (J.) Towsley in Florida tonight. I used to live in North Hollywood, CA, a few houses down from a Charlie Towsley on Colfax Avenue. Never met him, oddly enough. My father's name is Harold. My grandfather was a cop in the Fort Wayne Indiana area in the 40's and 50's. You may contact me at my email.
