I am extremely interested in the Michigan Towsleys...I'm currently undertaking a historical survery of a property in Locke Twp, Ingham County, MI where Matthew P. Towsley lived between the 1850s and 1880s. Matthew was son of John Towlsey (Steuben County, NY) and grandson of Amos Towsley. The survey is being performed for the current homeowners...a portion of Matthew's house (basement, foundation, etc.) is still part of the dwelling.
