I am researching mt mother's paternal line. I believe I have connected my lineage back to a Repentence Townsend who was ordered out of Augusta County, Va. along with his wife, Mary Taylor Townsend, for not bringing their children up in a christian manner. Any details would be helpful. I have just started my research and any help would be great. I am connected to Repentence by his son Thomas Townsend, and his son Andrew Townsend, and his son Loving.
