I am looknig for any information on Josephen Tonekry. Here is all I know about her

Josephene "Thomas" Tonkery: Born 14 June 1845, Hanibal, Missouri; Died 27 March 1913, Quincy, Illinois; Buried Rushville, Illinois; Married 12 December 1866; William Henry Dennis: Born 22 August 1842, Steubenville, Browning Twp, Butler County, Ohio; Died 13 January 1925, Culbertson Hospital, Rushville, Illinois;

Josephene was an orphan. She generally used her mother's maiden name as her own. This is because she was raised by her maternal grandmother. William served in the 10th Missouri Infantry, Company A, during the Civil War. He enlisted at the age of 19 in 1861. This unit was part of the Western Army and served in the Mississippi Valley Campaign. During the war he may have been wounded. He was discharged on 22 March 1862. After the war William was a carpenter and a school teacher. William and Josephine had seven children: three unknown daughters; one unknown son; Rollo F. Dennis; J. H. Dennis; and Charles A. Dennis born 25 November 1878, married Mae Preckwinkle.

Does anything look familiar?

New info from Josephine's obituary says she was orphaned when a child and raised by her grandmother Mrs. Toncray. However she is listed as Josephine Thomas. That is probably her actual name. Her mother was a Toncray.

What I need is a record of a (Mr.) Thomas Born in Virginia who Married a (Miss) Toncray also Born in Virginia who had a daughter jamed Josephine near Hannibal Missouri in 1845.
