I am a desendant of the Harmen Ton branch still living in the Chicago area. I havae some info on each of the eight branches. The Harold Washington Library in Chgo has a special collection file on Tons including programs from each annual reunion, newpaper clippings, Life magazine, etc. I have some genealogy records on the branches and about three generations in Holland. Desendants of Jan & Aagie (1826-1896)might be interested to know that his original home on the Calumet River may have been located and is being restored as a historical landmark as local records indicate it was a station on the underground railroad.
