Lita,Hi my name is Debbie Lloyd, and my mother's father was George Toland. His father's name was William David Toland and his mother's name was supposed to be Emma Boyd.I think we might be related somehow.William David had 2 marriages that I am aware of,and my Gr-Grandmother was his second, and my grandfather was from his marriage to Emma.I beleive he fathered a lot of children including at least one set of twins.Do you have any info you could share with me?I beleive they were married in Arkansas but lived in Georgia.I am having a real hard time tracing Emma Boyd's side.I have info tracing William David from Hugh in Ireland.Any help you can give would be most appreciated. Thanks,Debbie Lloyd E-mail@ debbie78@bellsouth.net (please don't use apical e-mail-no longer getting mail there.)

Hi,Carolyn,
I have seen your postings about the TOLAND family in Arkansas. Would you happen to know of a (Robert M.) Toland who spent some time in Homer, Claiborne Parish, LA in the late 1800s? All help appreciated. Thanks. Donna

At this point, I do not have a Robert M. Toland on anything I have checked. It appears that most of my direct Toland did not come to Ark. from TN. until the early 1900's.

Hello! My name is Danielle Toland and I am from Wyoming, Illinois. My grandpa on my dad's side is Lloyd Toland and he originated from southern Illinois. I do not know too much about his lineage but I plan on asking my Grandma some questions when I get home this summer. If any of you could help me I would really like to know my lineage and how big my family is; thank you!
