Tokarczyk looking for Tokarczyk
I just started a search to find out who my grandpas dad is, no one in my family knows anything about him other then his name was Frank Tokarczyk. He is said to have died in New York a very poor man. He possible has a brother named John Taylor(changed his last name). He was married to Mary (Sajdak?) and had 5 sons and 5 daughters. They most likely lived in Pennsylvania. Warsaw Poland is the town we think he came from. I am also interested in contacting other Tokarczyk, it maybe a popular name in Poland but its fairly rare in the US.

Re: Tokarczyk looking for Tokarczyk
My great grandfather is also Frank Tokarczyk directly from Poland. Might be the same man. He arrived in Penn. but moved to Chicago where he raised 6 children until his wife passed in 1930. I don't know where he ended up after that, but I know that the children ended up in an orphanage. If you're interested please contact me. Nancy Loebig

She lived in Illinois for awhile and then moved and died in MI. I have been trying to ck. out an Albert and a Frank Tokarczyk in Standish. Re: Tokarczyk looking for Tokarczyk
Well, I think you just might just have found a "missing link" of some sort. Your Grandfather, Leo, was my Fathers (Ziggy) Brother. My Uncle Leo was a lumberjack when I was a kid (I am 63) up in a town called Wabeno in northern Wisconsin. If Leo is in fact your Grandfather (I know for a fact the Leo and his wife Kathy moved to Schoshonie (sp.?) Wyoming, and ran a Motel or something along that line. After Leo's death, his wife kathy (My Aunt) moved back to Wabeno Wisconsin. As a metter of fact, I spoke with her about 2 months ago. Please let me know if this makes any sense to you?
Regards,
Allen Tokarczyk - I was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., and moved with the family to New Jersey in 1960. I reside in Bordentown, New Jersey.
