Am a descendant of Margaret Seebach Toggweiler, came to U.S. from Germany. Born 14 May 1863 In Berka Au Weera, Germany, died in 1956.
Married Charles John Toggweiler who was born 15 Aug 1860 in Zurich, Switzerland. Is a strange name, not too many Togg's in the U.S. Mother visited Toggweilers in Switzerland and found a family cemetery. This family lived in New Albany, Indiana, my grandfather eventually moved to Miami, Florida. Let me know how your family came here, tried to see if Margaret went thru Ellis Island but had no help.

Am a descendant of Margaret Seebach Toggweiler. Am interested in your line, it is a strange name and not many of us. My mother visited Switzerland and found a cemetary with Toggweilers. Our Toggweilers lived in Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky and later moved to Miami. Let me know if we hook up and more about the name.

My new email is dwessels@netins.net. My great-grandmother was Margaret Elizabeth Seebach Toggweiler born 14 May 1865 Berka Au Weera, Saxon, Germany and she died 10 Feb 1956 Miami, FL.
I found some articles in the New Albany library and would like to learn more about her family-she was married at least twice and one of the articles mentioned a brother attending her wedding. Would be interested in any info you may have of the family, when they arrived in the U.S., I know she was in the Louisville, New Albany, possibly Cincinatti area?

My Mother-in-law is Georgetta Kalamaras. Her mother was Margaret(Bertha) Toggweiler the daughter of Margaret Sebach Toggweiller. She is 87 now, but she is interested in hearing about her family.
