I am not sure if my previous reply went through but my great grandmother was Tofflemire and her husband was a King. They lived in Iowa until they split. Could there be any connections??

My Great grandmother was Sarah Tofflemire and her father was James Tofflemire and his father was James Tofflemire. They migrated from Canada to Illinois. They go as far back as the American Revolution. They are written about in the Tofflemire book. I know a lot of the Toffelmires settled in Canada. It's great to find new kin folk!
