TODER from Newark, Nottinghamshire
Hi Everyone,
I wonder if anyone recognises the following people;
My g-g-g-g-g grandmother Anne Linthwaite TODER was born in Newark upon Trent, Nottinghamshire in about 1778. Her parents were Thomas TODER (born Farndon, near Newark abt 1750) and Ann.
They had five other children apart from Anne, all with the middle name Linthwaite (I suspect this may be Ann's maiden name, but have been unable to find a record of the marriage so far)
William born 1774 Mary born 1775 (she seems to have died as a baby) Mary born 1776 John 1779 (also likely to have died as an infant) John born 1780 Robert born 1781
If anyone recognises this family, I would love to hear from them.

Re: TODER from Newark, Nottinghamshire
Hi Paula,
Sorry for the late reply, I don't check these boards often enough.
I would appreciate any information you have about the Toders because I have come to a complete dead end with them. The earliest members of the family I have found are John (b. 1710) and Adam (b. 1713) both in Farndon, Nottinghamshire. There is older Adam TODER who seems to be their father, but I can't find anything about him, or any earlier generations fo the family.
