Looking for information on the father of Willie Toddy. I understand from his daughter Veline that his father died from being kicked by a horse before Willie was born to Lillia Peters. She said that Solomon was a favorite uncle...maybe great uncle? Any info on the Toddys would be welcome.

I have been researching Willie Toddy since he was the husband of my great aunt Rosie Fergerson. I have a 1900 Census in Jackson County for a John Faridy. It list Lillie as a wife. She married a John Tairdy according to Jackson County marriage records on Jul, 19, 1899. This census says that they had been married for one year. Her name in the marriage is listed a Lillie Toddy . Annie Toddy married James S. Noles in 1897. Annie and Lillie were sisters according to the 1920 census. Willie her son is listed as a nephew.

Back to the 1900 census: listed are Saul F. Faridy born 1880 which I believe is Solomon, Bellie Faridy. A Mollie Belle Toddy married W.H. Smith in Jackson County in 1900, Florence E age 12, Billy H. age 10 , Silas W. age 6 Silas Walker, Nancy C. the Nancy found in the 1910 census with Lillia Peters. John W. Faridy which I believe may be John William Brady, and John Taridy why the t I don't know. This John is I believe is Issac in the 1910 census will Lilian Peters, Also could be Goldman I Toddy found a coupld census. If anyone can shed some light on this please contact me. Appreciate it.

I'm searching for parents or siblings of Florence Ella Tapp (Toddy). All I have been able to find is that her parents were from Arkansas (according to census entries). She was married to George Tapp, was b. 03MAR1886 d. 08NOV1939, and lived in Poinsett County, AR. I suspect (also based on census data) she may be a sibling of Walker Toddy.

If I can discover her parentage or if she had any female siblings, I have a good chance of tracking down my biological mother. DNA testing has lead me to this line by linking me to a descendant who is genetically my second cousin.
