Mathilda Toch Silbar
Mrs. Mathilda Toch Silbar, a resident of the South Side for 46 years, died on Sunday at her home, 499 6th Avenue, at the age of 71 years. She had been ill for over a year. The deceased was the mother of Sidney Silbar of Milwaukee, Julius from Chicago, Sam of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Mrs. D. Shanberge and Miss Burnette Silbar of Milwaukee. She came to America from Wichtenberg, Bohemia, at the age of 15 years. With the exception of 10 years when she lived in Philadelphia, she has lived Milwaukee.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, in the funeral home of Franz and Son, 424 12 Street, and held under the auspices of the Eastern Star. The burial will take place at the Spring Hill Cemetery.
