Vito (Veto) TOCE/TOCCI, b.1910, Search

Hi! I'm looking for more information about my great-grandfather, VITO (could also be spelled Veto) A. TOCE (b. 19 June 1910 - d. 13 November 1992), especially his parents and his wife. I don't know where Vito was born, but he died in or around the Hartford, CT area. I've heard that in Italy, my last name was spelled TOCCI before my ancestors came to the U.S. and changed it to TOCE.
Vito married my great grandmother Mary DELLASANDRO, but I don't know when or where. Mary was born in 1915, but I don't know the specific date or where she was born. I also don't know specifically where (I'm assuming she died somewhere in CT) or when she died.
I'm also not sure how many children they had together. I know that my grandfather is Robert Gerald TOCE (b. 22 September 1935 - d. 17 September 2000) and he lived in CT. His wife was Caroline Dorothy BANCROFT (b. 4 March 1937 - d. 20 April 1997).
If there's any information on my great grandfather, his parents, his wife, birth, or ancestry, I would really appreciate it!

Hi there, fellow Toce, I just wanted to let you know that Toce is a not uncommon surname in Corleto Perticara, Basilicata. This is not to say that your ancestors didn't change their name after they got here, but this is what I have found researching original vital records feom Italy. The correct Italian pronunciation is TOE-chay, that is probably what actually changed. My gggrandfather Donato Toce arrived in New York with his family in 1869. All the Toces in the US likely have common roots in the Corleto area.
