Francis Tocci, WWII Paratrooper?!?!

Dear Tocci's,

My name's Christophe Mora and I am a 42-year old non-professional history enthusiast from France. I am doing researches about the WWII US Army Paratroopers.

I am looking for some help identifying one of them, a Paratrooper named Francis TOCCI.

His military records seem to have been destroyed in 1973 during a fire at the US National Archives....

So, the only infomation is that he was from Los Angeles, California when he enlisted into the Army. His Army Serial Number suggests that he enlisted in the Regular Army, so that was probably around 1939-early 1941.

With Ancestry, I found one possible match, a man who was born in New Jersey in 1918 or 1921 and that was stationed at Camp Ord, California with the 30th Infantry Regiment in 1940, and who passed away in February 1988 in Alameda County, California.

I was hoping that maybe somebody here knew the TOCCI's from New Jersey/California and maybe could help me out confirm that this Francis Tocci was actualy a paratrooper who served in North Africa and Tunisia in 1942-1943...

You can contact me at kriss_37@hotmail.com

Please, feel free to get in touch if you want, ok?

Have a wonderful day,

Regards from France,

Christophe Mora
