Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
Found this to be a most interesting site!! Sources suggest that all Tocci's are related in one way or another. I'm curious as to whether or not there's a legitimate lineage documented? My family originated from Sicily as I understand it.

Re: Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
Hi, I'm just beginning to search for family info. My Mother's maiden name is Tocci. Her parents were Clarence Carmen and Mary Katherine. Grandparents: Carmen & Lucia (Lucy) Tocci. I don't know if we're related but I've been told our family also originated from Sicily. Now most reside in Watertown/Belmont, MA area. I'm interested in finding any info about them that I can.

Re: Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
Hi Barbara, The Tocci family is huge and I have always been told that they are all related. They have a Coat of Arms (which my mother is presently searching for). If my mother's memory is correct, Carmen was my great uncle. I had never heard of the family being located in Sicily. My grandfather, Loreto, always said he came from a village near Rome. If I find any further information, I'll let you know.

Re: Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
Hi Angela, Thanks so much for your response! It seems like we are related. I've found out a lot since my original post of March 2002. My Great-Grandfather, Carmine, and your Grandfather, Loreto were indeed brothers. They came over from San Donato together in 1903. (Along with Carmine's wife Lucia and young son Antonio) I will email you personally and hopefully we can exchange info! Linda (Barb Wanberg's Sister!)

Re: Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
My father's family is Tocci form San Donato Italy. (san donato valcomino) We are from Newton MA but lots of my father's relations are in Leominister MA. His name was Daniel, (Donato). Family had 11 brothers and sisters. All the Tocci's I know are from this little town.

Re: Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
Hi. My Mom's Tocci line is also from San Donato (Val di Comino) Italy. My Great-Grandparents are Carmine and Lucia (Salvucci) Tocci. Carmine had a brother Loreto, who had a son Daniel (Donato) What are your Grandparents' names? It sounds like we're related. Most of Mom's line grew up in Watertown, Leominster and Newton from what I've been able to find so far. Angela (on this board) and I are also related and have exchanged some info too. Please feel free to email me. Linda

Re: Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
No we haven't been there yet. Have you? We have a Gerardo, married to Antonia Marini. He is the brother of our great-grandfather Carmine Tocci. I believe most of their family (Gerardo's) was from the Leominster, Mass area though. Wow, just noticed your post was almost 2 years ago!!!!!

Our grandfather was married to Granda (spelling?) but we have lots of relatives from the area. Is that the closedst Tocci to you?

Re: Tocci - From "Leominister, Mass"
Our closest Toccis are in Watertown, Belmont, Newton, & Leominster. My direct line lived mostly in Watertown after coming from San Donato. Some of the names are: My great-grandparents Carmine and Lucia (Salvucci) Tocci, my grandparents Clarence (Cladinoro) Tocci and Mary (Stamp) Tocci. Siblings of my great-grandfather are: Loreto (Larry), Gerardo (Jerry) , Lucy, Natalina, Josephine, Esther, & John. Do any sound familiar?
