My mother's family is from San Severino; a small town in the region of Le Marche on the Eastern Coast of Italy. I still have aunts, uncles and cousins there that I have gone to visit. I have an Aunt and Uncle that live in the house that atleast six generations of Toccafondo's have lived in.

I never though to use the internet to found a member of my family. It`s fun! Really, my grandpa went to Brasil in the begging of the last century and he was born in San Severino de Marchi. Please, send me a message for me. I want to know more about my ancestors. Thanks.

Nice to hear from family! I could give you a little overview of my mother;'s family; if you have any specific questions please email me. My mother, Amelia was one of nine children born to Augostino and Adele Toccafondo just minutes away from San Severino in a town called Serralta. Now two-- my mother Amelia and uncle Antonio live in Montana-- live in Montana, three-- uncle Pacifico, uncle Gino and aunt Marie-- in Belgium, one-- aunt Rosa -- just a couple hours from San Severino( not sure of the town name), two-- uncle Eugenio and aunt Gerrarda-- in S. Severino. The ninth child of the family was Don Domenico who died around the age of 32. My uncle Eugenio lives in the house that they all grew up in-- as did the last 5 or 6 generations of Toccafondos. If you know anything about your past or other relatives, again, I would love to hear from you. A ri parlarchi,
-Riccardo

It´s wonderfull to can talk with a member of my family. Really, the net gave a great contribution to close the pleople. I´m son of Angela Toccafondo, a lawyer like me, and grandson of Geraldo Toccafondo. And he was - infortunelly he dies three years ago, a son of Alessandro Giovanni Toccafondo. I´ll research all names of my uncles and aunts and send to you. The Toccafondo´s members in Brazil are very extensive, but I´ll try to do a god job, for less I´ll count the ancestors more closer to me. It´s a good emotion to talk to you. Please, tell me about the life in Italy: the pleople, the culture, anyway, everything! I´ll love to hear and know more of the my ancestor land´s. Ciao!

Thank you for the compliment on my english. Actually I came to the Staes when I was 8 mos. old, so I have had some time to work on it-- I'm 23 now. I am going to visit my mother and uncle Tony in a couple of weeks so I'll be able to get more information for you on the family. I'm sure they'll be excited to hear about you. My cousin, who was born here in the States has done some research on the Toccafondo name and has also told me about the large number in South America. If I remember correctly, he said that there was a street named after the family down there. I will try to get a hold of him and see what he knows, or if he would like to email you some of the things he has found. To your mother: Le donne di San Severino hanno il cuore d'oro, e sono sicuro che te cielai anche.

Fernando,
Hello. I see that you have been in contact with my cousin, Riccardo Pirrone. His mother, Amelia, and my father, Antonio, were born in San Severino as Riccardo mentioned.
It sounds like your grandfather, Geraldo, was from the same place as my father. It may be possible that your grandfather is very closely related to my grandfather, or his father.
Have you or Riccardo discovered any new information that proves a relationship between us?
I look forward to hearing from you.
