I am looking for information about my Great grandfather, Hermann Tobias (married to Rosa Levi) from Germany. I know that Hermann's father was Jacob Tobias II and his father was Herz Tobias (married to Olisa Herz). I am looking for information on Herz's father. My Great great great great grandfather. I believe it may be Tobias Herz. It gets confusing when they began changing and/or reversing their names. If anyone has any information on this family tree please contact me.
