Hello Jackie, This is exciting. I knew that my dad had a 1/2 brother named Jack. But he never seem to know much about him. My dad is Keith Klingaman, hes 69, but if he's a math genius thats news to me. I'm his oldest and Im 42, Suzanne and I are from his first marriage. Doug & Darren his second. Obviosly Grandma wasn't married when she had your father and there is nearly 20 yrs between our fathers. If you have any history on grandma's life I would be interested. I know that once Grandpa Klingaman passed away, dad was raised by his !/2 brothers. But I remember Grandma when I was a child, I believe I was 11 when she passed on. So that would have been in I think around 1971. I rememberr when your father passed away someone notified my dad. I hadn't everr realized before that, that Grandma had another child. I don't have Joseph Tkadlecs obituary handy right now, but it does list his children and wives. Hope we can be of some help to each other in our search of the family tree. As I'm working on all sides of my family it's been fun finding out the history of that person. Not just the fact that they lived and died, but how they lived.

Hey Sharon
Yep we are cousins!! After speaking to my mom I found out I was wrong about the math genius. Great Grandfather had the brother that was the math genius. My father was born out of wedlock and his grandfather raised him. Mom told me that Dad did not know much about his brother as he was grown and on his own by the time your dad was born. My Mom married Dad and had me and my sister, then they divorced because of my Dads drinking habits. Several years later they began their relationship back up and remarried (didn't learn her lesson the 1st time.) They then had my younger brother. Shortly after that we left Wisconsin and I never saw my Dad again until I was 22. I to would like to find out more about the family. I have to wonder if the Josef Tkadlec that has all the math articles is not related. http://math.feld.cvut.cz/tkadlec/ He kinda looks like my Dad
He is a math professor from Czech Republic is not related. How old was Vlasta when she passed and where is she burried. What caused her death? I would like to find who my fathers dad was? Many questions?? Are you in Texas? Feel free to write to me at my email address.........Jackie
