Classification: Query
Surnames: Tkaczyk, Kane, Gorey, Jaskot

I am trying to find information about the Tkaczyk family. I have a baptism certificate for my great aunt Caroline (Clara)Tkaczyk (married name Kane) who was born in Passaic, NJ, December, 1904 and moved to PA around 1912. The certificate is from St. Joseph's RC Church in Passaic, NJ. The sponsers are difficult to read but look like Lucas Tetla and Caroline Kowal.
Clara's father, Francis Tkaczyk, came to the USA from Poland. He met his wife here and I believe they were married in Passaic. Her name is difficult to read on the Baptism certificate but I believe it says Catherine Jaskot (Jask?? - the end is hard to read). They had 5 children before moving to PA so Francis could work in the mines.
Caroline b.December 4, 1940
Julia b.about 1906 (died young)
Frances b.Jan 20, 1908
Catherine b.about 1910 (died around 1922 in a playground accident)
Boleslaw b.about 1911
Two more children were born in PA
Mildren b.around 1913 and
Joseph b. about Feb 19, 1916
Their mother (Catherine Tkaczyk) died around Feb 21, 1916 and their father left the children soon after.
After the children were orphaned, Clara worked to try and keep the family together but most were separated. Because of
this, I have little information about the family.

Clara worked as a housekeeper and married James Kane.

Mildred went to Vargason family in West Wyoming. She married Ben Gorey.

Boleslaw (Bennie) went to the Romes family in Plains.

Frances was my grandmother and lived in various foster homes (at one point went by the name Kosek.) She married Michael Ott of Wilkes Barre, PA.

I'm not sure what happened to Joseph - my aunt thinks he died in his teens.

If anyone can help or at least point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
